Thank you for your letter of 22 May 1992. Answers to the questions raised in paragraph 2 of your letter are as follows :

The Judiciary is in the process of drawing up a set of Judicial Service Regulations to replace the Civil Service Regulations. In the meantime, the Civil Service Regulations, except those specifically stating that they not applicable, apply to Judicial Officers.
