Products made and displayed by W. Graham Hitchins Ltd. include water- proofing, sealing and colouring com- pounds for stone or masonry walls, floor hardening materials, expansion jointing and cement additives.
Best known of these is the Gunac process, a sealant and decorative coat- ing for concrete structures. It con- sists of resin/bitumen base coats over- laid with coloured synthetic resins and finished with a clear top coat.

Power shift gives three forward and three reverse speeds up to 8 m.p.h., while direct drive gives six forward and six reverse up to 6.4 m.p.h. Track gauge is 84in. Steering is hydraulically actuated.

Power steering and power brakes are coupled with a single lever speed and direction control. Static tipping load is 12,000 lb.
The transmission is a full power shift with two speeds forward and one reverse. With the use of a twin turbine torque converter, the trans- mission becomes, in effect, a four speed forward and a two speed
reverse.
For example, the first turbine and its output gear provide the high tor- que output (5.1:1 at full stall) neces- sary for crowding the pile and getting the load underway. The second tur- bine and its gear set provide more speed with less torque for travelling. The transition from crowd to travel is automatic.

Hydraulic pump
Tai Long Enterprise Co., Ltd. show an automatic hydraulic pump which uses the water hammer effect to create lift. No fuel or electric motor is needed and the pump operates for long periods without attention.
Maximum lift is 30 times the head of water above the pump inlet and maximum delivery is up to 1,000 litres per minute. Applications in- clude irrigation and domestic water supply.

Pao Feng Industrial Co., Ltd. have pioneered the manufacture of asphalt felt and asphalt roofing in Taiwan.
Pao Feng asphalt felt
The asphalt felt is made by running a felt of vegetable fibres and cel- luloses through a molten asphalt bath, followed by squeezing and dry- ing. The roofing follows the same procedure but with the additional treatment of spraying asphalt on both sides after drying. A mica, sand or granular surface may then be applied.
Both materials are produced in rolls of 22 or 44 metres, 1 metre wide.
