The R.MS. "Empress of Canada" of the Canadian Pacific Steam-; ships, Limited arrives here to-day, and will berth alongside the Kowloon Wharf.
She comes from Canada, U.S.A., Honolulu, Japan and Shanghai, and will leave here for Manila to- day at 5.00 p.m.
Letters of destination will be re- ceived at the General Post Office up to 3.30, p.m. to-day.

S.S. "PRESIDENT JACKSON" The S.S. "President Jackson" of the American Mail Lines is due here to-day, and will berth alongside the Kowloon Wharf.
She comes from Manila, and will sall for Shanghai, Japan. Canada, U.S.A. and Europe (via Victoria, B.C.-due "Victoria, B.C., November 25 and Europe Siberia) to-day of midnight.
Parcels will be received at the General Post Office up to 4.00 p.m., while registered articles and letters of destination will be received up to 5.00 pm, and 5.30 p.m. to-day.

R.M.S. "EMPRESS OF JAPAN" The RM8. "Empress of Japan" of the Canadian Pacific. Steam- ships, Limited arrived at Vancou- ver, B.C. on Tuesday, November 3 at 2.00 p.m. and will leave Van- couver, B.C. on Saturday, Novem- ber 14.
She 13 due at Hong Kong on Friday morning. December and will leave Hong Kong for Manila the same evening.

Freight And Asiatic Passengers Returns
(BY LONGSHOREMAN). During the 24 hours ended at 9.00 am yesterday, the freight returns, received from the Har- bour Office, showed a fairly high tonnage movement, a large pro- portion of which being made up by British shipë.
The total tonnage of general cargo carried by vessels to the Colony W3S 12.059 toxs, with British steamers carrying 3,800
tons.
Through cargo for ports be- ta yond the Colony amounted 21,979 tons, of which 9,683 tons were carried by British steamers.
Asialle deck passengers, entering Into the Colony during the 24 hours ended at 9.00 a.m. yesterday were 1,050, of which 364 were from British steamers.
There were altogether twenty arrivals, of which mine were of British registry, the remainder being of other nationalities, while of the 16 departures, nine were British ships, the rest being of other different "countries, Par- ticulars as follows:- Nationality
