Prizes to be given for the most beautiful and most original Fancy Dresses are many and valuable. A further feature of the Ball is to be a foor show, when Mestra, Jack. AT GERMAN CLUB
The second "One Pot" Meal was taken by the German community in the German Club last night, on the occasion of closing of the Book Exhibition. A Book Lottery was
also drawn, and at the end a film was shown of the Olympic Winter Games at Garmisch Partenkirchen, and a German news reel.
"Last Post" and "Revellle" will be blown by buglers of the 1st Battalion Royal Ulster Rides. A body of Chinese Ratings of the Royal Navy, a body from the Chi- nese Section of the 40th Fortress Royal Engineers and a detach- ment from the Hong Kong Naval Volunteer Force will also parade.
The steps leading up to the Memorial Arch will be lined by the Hong Chinese Company of the
de- Kong Police Reserve, and a tachment of District Watchmen will parade under Inspector Ellis.
