Dear Parkinson,
I have been considering your letter (No. S.F. 94/4/70/B.3.b) to Logan of the 14th April about the admission of Indians to Hong Long.
I am afraid that your Department and mine have been at cross purposes over this matter, but obviously we must now try to clear it up. As a first step I have written to Rumbold at the Commonwealth Relations Office and I enclose a copy of my letter which I think is self-explanatory. I should be most grateful if you would get into touch with Rumbold with a view to making progress with this question as soon as possible.
Yours sincerely,
R.B. PARKINSON, ESQ.
