1. J. R. Nous, formerly superintendent Aerodrome, Hong Kong, now in Australia, is being instruc te d
subject to physical fitnesɛ to return to Hong Kong sa early as possible to advise on future establishment of Department of wir Services, He is also being informed that he will be considered for the post of Director of air ervices and in this connection shall be grateful if you will report on nis suitability for this post after he has returned to Hong Kong and had oppertunity to discuss with you future organization and establisament of the Department. Hong Kong Agent has been requested to communicate direct with you regarding departure of Nous from Australia. Noen made suggestion that, in addition to duties in Hong Kong, he should be appointed Civil Aviation Attaché at Chungking but have informed him tunt tois is not considered desirable.
