so altered in a period of teu
it was not
t practicable. I have
already built me main tank containing 110,000 gallons and brought the supply to the garb,- from this principal tank a main will be extended to two 10,000 gallon tanks at the Union chapét
and
is now in course of work; one 16,000 gallon tank will receive waste
water from the main Tank on the line of stream at Wyredham Street, and one Tant of similar dimensions will be erected at the head of spingehen.
It is proposed to lay pipes from these tanks as far

will fermit, and at each cross street
provide hydrants and stopcocks ; in case of fire a hose and pipe will be
bydrant, and
screwed to the
Cant, and in most
parts of the Town with sufficient hose the water may be applied by
high pressure alone in one effection
stream.
The Tarrks will be kept always

and a
larger store of water required;
