3. The principal Ordinance is amended by the deletion, in sections
of sections 6, 6, 8 and 13, of the word "sub-inspector" wherever the same occurs and
the substitution therefor of the following-

Ao Ordinance to amend the Protection of Non-Government Certificates
of Origin Ordinance. 1960.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Protection of Non- Short title. Government Certificates of Origin (Amendment) Ordinance, 1963,
2. Section 3 of the Protection of Non-Government Certificates of Amendment Origin Ordinance, 1960 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Ordin- of section 3. toce) is amended by-
(4) being renumbered as subsection (1) thereof:
(6) the deletion of the word "five" and. the substitution therefor of
(29 of 1960).
the following-
"twenty"; and
(c) the insertion of the following new subsection—–
"(2) Any person who, with intent to deceive-
(a) makes or causes to be made any false statement
in any declaration made for the purpose of obtaining a certificate of origin; or
