(1) Resolution regarding the Report of the Select Committee on
the Estimates for 1961-62.
The Colonial Secretary to now the following resolution :-
Resolved that the Report of the Select Committee, to which mas referred the draft Estimates of Revenue and Expendi- ture for 1961-62, be adopted.
(2) Betting Duty Ordinance. Chapter 108.
The Financial Secretary to move the following resolution :-
Resolved that the scale of duty to be charged on every bet made on any totalisator or pari-mutuel authorised under the Betting Daty Ordinance, Chapter 108, ahall be seven And one-half per cent.
(3) Datiable Commodicisa Ordinance, Chapter 109.
The Financial Secretary to move the following resolution :-
Resolved pursuant to section of the Dutiable Commodities Ordinance, Chapter 109, that the DUTIES on HYDROCARBON OILS set forth in the Resolution of the Legislative Council published as Government Notification No. A.22 in the Gazette of the 16th March, 1960 be revoked with effect from 2 o'clock p.m. on Wednesday, the 1st March, 1961, and that thereafter duty shall be payable on hydrocarbon oils at the following rates per gallon :
(a) light oils
motor spirit
(11) other light oils
(b) heavy oils
(1) diesol oil for public canibuses owned and
operated by the China Motor Bus Company Limited and by the Kowloon Motor Bus Company (1933) Limited, respectively (ii) diezul oil for other road vehicles ..*** (111) other diesel oil and other heavy oils

In this Resolution
"mptor spirit" means any light oil which has been rendered suitable for use as a fuel in any internal combustion engine by the addition of any compound or compounds of lead and any other light oil suitable and intended for use in any internal combustion engine.
