(4) Hong Kong and Yaumati Ferry Company (Services) Ordinance, 1951.

The Financial Secretary to move the following resolution :-

WHEREAS

(a) section 4 of the Hong Kong and Yaumati Ferry Company

(Services) Ordinance, 1951 (hereinafter referred to as the Ordinance) provides that the ferry servicea authorised by the Ordinance shall be maintained and operated upon the terms and conditions specified in the Schedule thereto;

(b) section 5 of the Ordinance provides that the Schedule

there to may be varied at any time, with the consent of the Company, by Resolution of the Legislative Counc11;

(o) it La now desired that the ferry services operated in

Tolo Harbour by the Company shall be subject to the terms of the Ordinance upon the expiry of the Excluded Ferries Regulations, 1955 on the 31st day of March, 1961; (a) the Company has consented to the amendment of the Schedule

to provide for such services and to prescribe fares therefor;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, with the consent of the Company

that →

(i) Appendix I to the Schedule to the Ordinance be amended

(a) under the heading "TERRY RUNS" by the addition of

the following new paragraph

(a) Taipo Kau, Shap Sze Heung, Shan Chang, Lai

Che Chong, Tai Tan, Chik Kang, Kau Lan Wao, Tap Mun.";

(b) under the heading "FERRY POINTS AND FRONTAGES" by

the addition at the end thereof of the following

"Talpo Kau

Shap Sze Heung

Shan Chang

Lại cho chang

Chik Kang and Kau Lau Tan)

These amendmenta shall come into operation on the 1st

day of April, 1961.

(5) New Territories (Amendment) Bill, 1961.

The Attorney General to move the Firat reading of :-

A Bill intituled; "An Ordinance to amend the New Territories

Ordinance, Chapter 97,"

(6) Road Traffic (Amendment) Bill, 1961.

The Attorney General to move the First reading of :*

A Bill intituled: "An Ordinance to amend the Road Traffic

Ordinance, 1957."

(7) Motor Vehicles (First Registration Tax) Bill, 1961.

The Financial Secretary to move the First reading of :-

A Bill intituled: "Ao Ordinance to impose a tax to be paid oa

the first registration of certain motor vehicles and to provide for matters connected with the purpose aforesaid."

(8) Inland Revenue (Amendment) Bill, 1961.

The Financial Secretary to move the First reading of :-

A Bill latituled; "An Ordinance to amend the Inland Revenue

Ordinance, Chapter 112."
