THE EMERGENCY REGULATIONS ORDINANCE, 1912.
REGULATIONS MADE BY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
In exercise of the power conferred by section 2 of the Emergency Regulations Ordinance, 1922, as amended by the Emergency Regulations (Amendment) Ordinance, 1949, and by the Emergency Regulations (Amendment) (No. 2) Ordinance, 1949, the Governor in Council has made the following regula- tions
REGULATIONS.
1. These regulations may be cited as the Emergency Citation. (Special Constabulary) (Amendment) Regulations, 1951.

1948, occurs, then such expression shall have the same meaning as in the said Ordinance and—
"bounty" means the bounty payable under regulation 11(5)
"date of Authorization" means the date of the Order by which the Governor authorizes the re- cruitment and constitution of the Special Consta- bulary;
"instruction" means a period of attendance of less that 6 hours" duration at a time and place specified by the Commissioner;
“instruction allowance" means the allowance
payable under regulation 14(4);
"instruction period" means a period of in- struction of hour's duration;
"member" means a member of the Special Constabulary,
"Special Constabulary" means a body of persons constituted under these regulations to perform the duties in aid of the Police Force of the Colony:

"training" means a period of attendance of not less than 6 hours' duration at a time and place specified by the Commissioner;
