PROCLAMATION.

Governor.
By His Excellancy Sir WILLIAM PEEL, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies and Vice Admiral of the same.
Whereas by Section 12 of the Volunteer Ordinance, 1920, Ordinance No. 2 of 1920, as amended by Section 3 of the Volunteer Amendment Ordinance, 1926, Ordinance No. 15 of 1926, it is enacted amongst other things that the Governor in case of great local emergency or in case of serious local disturbance, may call out, by Proclamation, any volunteer corps or any portion thereof for actual inilitary service, and whereas it is also enacted by the aforesaid section that the period of such service shall continue as long as the Governor may consider necessary aud shall and only by order of the Governor.
Now therefore I, the said Governor, do by this Proclamating call out the Armoured Car Company of the Hong Kong Volunteer Defence Corps for actual military service until further order.
