AMATION.
Governor,
By His Excellency Sir WILLIAM Pert, Kuight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies and Vice-Admiral of the same.
Whereas it is provided by paragraph (3) of Article 4 of the Hong Kong (Coinage) Order, 1895, that if any new coins are coined, the said Article shall, after the date fixed by the Governor in a proclamation made with the approval of the Commissioners of the Treasury and a Secretary of State setting forth in a schedule the same particulars with respect to each coin as are set forth in the Third Schedule to the said Order, apply to the new coins as if the Schedule to the proclamation were added to that Third Schedule:
And whereas the making of this proclamation has been approved as aforesaid:
Now I, the said Governor, do hereby notify and proclaim that the first day of December, 1931, be fixed as the date after which the said Article shall apply to the new coins set forth in the following Schedule:-
