Eighty-two plans were prepared and sold to the Public, the sum realized being $837.00. A large number was supplied free to various Government Departments.

TRIGONOMETRICAL SURVEYS.

18. Beacons were inspected at the following stations:- Victoria Peak, Mount Gough, Mount Kellet, Ada Rise, Round Island, Overbays, Whitty Street, Stanley, Red Hill, Boa Vista, Pottinger Peak, Kai Lung Wan, Summit Hill, Partridge Hill, Kowloon City, Diamond Hill, Tate's Cairn, Kowloon Peak, Beacon Hill, Lai Chi Kok, Danger Flag Hill, Mission Hill, Cha Kwo Ling, Kai Kung Ling, Ma On Kong, Kam Tin I, Kam Tin II, Tai Mo Shan, Au Tau Main, Au Tau Minor, Wong Toi Shan, Tai Tong, Castle Peak, Castle Peak Pier, Castle Peak North, Castle Peak East, Ping Shan, Ha Tsun, Wang Chau, Un Tai Shan, Tai Lam Chung, Lamti, Shek Po, Sha Tin, High Junk Peak, Chu Lo Kok, and a new military Station at Shek Kok Tsui.

REVENUE SURVEYS & GENERAL.

19. The more important work under this heading included the following:-

HONG KONG ISLAND.

One Tree Island was surveyed-area 3 acres-and the position of the measured mile post was re-established in relation to the transit posts on Round Island.

Survey of Sham Wan Cemetery. Area 6 acres.

Survey and plotting Sywan Military Reserve with adjoining coast line. Area 216 acres.

Tytam Tuk Reservoir. Survey and plotting of overflow tank 3/4 miles. Area of reservoir 83.3 acres.

14,800 feet of Water Pipe lines were surveyed in the districts of Mount Cameron and Repulse Bay Road.

Survey of Jardine's property at Causeway Bay Area 22 acres.
