131. Traffic White Lines, Studs and Motor Signs, etc. :— Two traffic control lanterns were installed at the front entrance of Government House. For motor traffic purposes the painting of white lines and fixing motor signs were carried out.

133. Nullah Training between Sing Wo and Blue Pool Roads:A rubble-walled nullah with concrete invert was constructed for a length of 485 feet of which 102 feet was covered in with reinforced cement concrete beams and slab; a single side-wall with concrete invert for a length of ninety-three feet and a temporary cement concrete storm water drain of 45" diameter extending for a length of 151 feet were constructed. This work necessitated an adjustment of the old Blue Pool intake supplying unfiltered water to the Recreation Clubs in Happy Valley.
Owing to the new drainage works the old Blue Pool intake, which supplied unfiltered water to the Jockey Club and other Recreation Clubs in Wongneichong Valley, had to be abandoned, A temporary intake was in use for the greater part of the year, but in November a new permanent intake was formed in the new nullah at a slighter higher level than the old Blue Pool' and the necessary alterations to the supply main were carried out.

134. Flush Latrine-Lockhart Road :-Sketch plans were prepared giving accommodation for eighteen males and ten females. A contract for this building was let to Messrs. Kin Lee & Co. and signed on 10th August and the work was completed on 2nd December, 1936. Three electric lights were installed.

135. Sewer extension between Sing Wo and Blue Pool Roads:-A 9" sewer was laid for a length of 851 feet with the necessary manholes and with sewer connections six in number.
