COMMUNICATIONS.
128. New 100-foot Road between Causeway Bay and Quarry Bay: This road, named King's Road, which was referred to in paragraph 115 of last year's Report was opened over the whole length of this section to general and tramway traffic in August. In addition to excavation to formation level 12″ cast iron water mains were relayed to a length of 538 feet and the existing 12" main was removed from that portion of Electric Road which was being closed. New sewers and storm water drains were constructed in lengths to 723 feet and in varying diameters from 21″ to 6″.
