Rewiring of Government Buildings:-The following six buildings were rewired:--Botanical and Forestry Offices, Waterworks Overseer's Quarters Garden Road, Central Garage and Post Office (Old Harbour Office Building), Government Analyst's Office, New Government Offices Connaught Road, No. 276 The Peak and No. 361 The Peak.

Peak School—Improvements:-This work consisted of alterations to give increased accommodation in certain class rooms by the inclusion of verandah space and also included the building of a new Staff Room. The tender of Messrs. Chung Lee Construction Co. was accepted and a contract signed in July. The work was satisfactorily completed in September. Four electric lights were installed.

Cameron Section :-This scheme which was described in detail in paragraph 130 of the 1935 Report was satisfactorily completed and brought into use in April. The following works were carried out:-Completion of pump houses, installation of pumps, turbines and motors at Upper Eastern Filter Beds and at Middle Gap; completion of drive and rising mains and distribution system from Middle Gap
