Foo Loong & Co. for a sum of $64,785.50, was commenced towards the end of that month. Progress during the year was satisfactory and the contract was completed on 31st December, 1934.

125. Widening of Middle Gap Road and access road to Mount Cameron lots:-This work, for which a contract was let in July to Messrs. Lai To Construction Company for a sum of $19,648.90, was commenced towards the end of that month. Work was confined to the widening of Middle Gap Road to a width of twenty feet and for a length of 1,325 feet.
