SURVEY OF COLONY.
City of Victoria (Revision).-Area surveyed 36.5 acres, plotted 22.4 acres, chainage 7½ miles.
The Hill District.-Area surveyed 2.5 acres, plotted 4.5 acres, chainage 1 mile.
Wong Nei Chong.-Area surveyed 1.75 acres, plotted 1.75 acres.
Pokfulam.-Area surveyed 11.5 acres, plotted 11.5 acres, chainage 2.75 miles.
Aberdeen.-Area surveyed 0.3 acre, plotted 0.3 acre.
Repulse Bay &c.-Area surveyed 8.6 acres, plotted 8.6 acres, chainage 1 mile.
Shaukiwan.-Area surveyed 6.75 acres, plotted 5 acres, chainage 1 mile.
Quarry Bay-Area surveyed 19.15 acres, plotted 19.15 acres, chainage 2 miles.
Shou Son Hill (Deep Water Bay).—Area surveyed 12.5 acres, plotted 12.5 acres, chainage 1½ miles.
Tweed Bay (Stanley).—Area surveyed 1.5 acres, plotted 1.5 acres.
Thirty-five permanent traverse points were fixed.
Kowloon and New Kowloon.-Area surveyed 528 acres, plotted 503 acres, chainage 42 miles.
315. Traverses.—
Kowloon.-A main traverse was run connecting main traverse Nos. 14 & 16, Length 4,600 feet, Closing error 1 in 17,300.
New Territories.-A main traverse from She Kong Trig. Station to Kam Tin Trig. Station (1) Length 9,700 feet. From She Kong Trig. Station to Kam Tin Trig. Station (2) Length 13,000 feet.
From Shek Po Trig. Station to Lam Tsuen Trig. Station Length 13,200 feet.
