308. During the year plans were prepared and sold to the public, the sum realized being $1,312.20. A large number were supplied free to various Government departments.

309. Naval and Military Lands.-Three areas, at San Wai, Tai Lam and Lo Wu, were transferred to the War Department for the purposes of Military Camps and adjoining roads, the sum of $11,136.84 being transferred to the Colonial Government account. A sum of $89.52 was also transferred to the Colonial Government account for compensation for disturbance of crops at Tai Lam Chung.

310. Piers.-(a) Permanent piers:-Pier No. 43 at Causeway Bay was leased to the Dairy Farm, Ice & Cold Storage Co. Ltd.

(b) Temporary piers:-Licences to erect six temporary piers were issued during the year-three in Hong Kong, two in Kowloon and one in New Kowloon, the total fees amounting to $500.38. The premia on renewal of licences for temporary piers amounted to $964.00.

311. Cemeteries.-There is nothing to report under this heading for Hong Kong, Kowloon and New Kowloon. In the New Territories, an area of 10,000 square feet at Cheung Chau was set aside for the Cheung Chau Chinese Christian Cemetery.

312. Re-entries.-Four lots in Hong Kong, eight lots in Kowloon, two lots in New Kowloon, forty-three lots in the Southern District (New Territories) and 328 lots in the Northern District (New Territories) were re-entered during the year.

313. The total amount of revenue derived from Premia, permit fees &c. during the year was $3,709,598.41.
