146. Port Works:- Only minor works were carried out during the year under this head, these included investigations as to the nature of the harbour bottom at Mongkok Tsui and repairs to tools used in connection with this work.

147. Waterloo Road Extension to Kowloon Boundary 100 feet wide. This work was referred to in paragraph 138 (a) of the Report for 1926 and in paragraph 139 (b) of last year's Report.
All earthworks were completed by the end of the year. Bottoming was carried out on a strip 40 feet wide, between Argyle Street and Prince Edward Road and then surfaced with dry macadam and tar painted.

148. To Kwa Wan (100 feet wide) and site formation.- This work was referred to in paragraph 138 (b) of the Report for 1926 and in paragraph 139 (c) of last year's Report.
Further progress was made with the site formation till sufficient lots were formed to meet the present requirements for exchange purposes. The contract for this work was thereafter closed and all commitments met.
