150. Mong Kok Tsui Nullah East.—This work was referred to in paragraph 139 (a) of the Report for 1926 and in paragraph 140 (a) of last year's Report.
No further work was done in connection with this item during the year but the commitment in respect of Retention Money was met.

151. Clearing and forming areas West of Kowloon City Road, Hok Un, Hau Pui Lung.—This was referred to in paragraph 143 of the Report for 1926 and 141 of that for last year.
(a) Blue and Yellow Areas on P.W.D. plan.—Work completed to meet present requirements for building sites which were granted in exchange.
(b) Hau Pui Loong and Hok Un Areas.
(i) Area South East of the Fire Cracker Factory.—Work completed early in the year.
(ii) A further area at Hok Un.—Work on this area was completed early in the year.
(iii) Area at Lo Lung Hang.—A reference to this area was made in paragraph 139 (a) on page 71 of the Report for 1927.
In 1927 the cost of this work was met from the vote for "Chatham Road Extension" but in 1928 funds were not provided under this head. The completion of the work was necessary and authority was obtained to charge all commitments to the above head.
The area was formed and completed to provide sufficient lots to meet the requirements for exchange purposes by the end of the year.
