102; Maintenance of Waterworks, Fanling.--The total quantity of water supplied during the year amounted to 5.64 million gallons or an average consumption of 15,000 gallons per day.
There were 20 meters in use at the close of the year, 6 for Fanling, 5 for Kam Tsin and 9 for Sheung Shui.
103. Maintenance of Waterworks, Taipo. The total quantity of water supplied during the year amounted to 13.76 million gallons or an average consumption of 38,000 gallons per day.
There were 33 meters in use at the close of the year.
104. Water Account (Meters etc.).--Meters were examined and repaired in 24 instances.

HONG KONG.
105. D'Aguilar,--Erection of Quarters for Officers.--The work was referred to in paragraphs 151 of the Report for 1924, and 98 of last year's Report.
It was not deemed advisable to start further work on buildings during the year, but the construction of a septic tank and other sundry additions was undertaken by departmental labour.

106. Fire Brigade Station. This work was referred to in paragraph 100 of last year's Report.
The work progressed satisfactorily and the building was occupied during the period from September to December as the completion of the work permitted.
