15. Lease Plans.-Plans and particulars, in duplicate, of 241 lots were prepared and forwarded to the Land Officer in connection with the issue of leases.
16. Boundary Stones.-Boundary Stones were fixed to 48 lots in Hong Kong, 84 in Kowloon, and 142 in New Kowloon and the New Territories.
17. Naval and Military Lands. An area of land known as Pinewood Battery was handed over to the Colonial Government from 28th March, 1925.
There is nothing to report with regard to Naval Lands.
18. Piers.-In Hong Kong, extensions were granted to Permanent Piers Nos. 33 and 35 opposite Marine Lot No. 277 North Point. The premia were $224.00 (areas 205 sq. ft. and 19 sq. ft. respectively).
In New Kowloon, an extension was granted to New Kowloon Permanent Pier No. 7 opposite New Kowloon Marine Lot No. 6. The premium was $9.00 (area 90 sq. ft.).
19. Cemeteries.-An area of 305,320 sq. ft., known as New Kowloon Cemetery Lot No. 1, at Kowloon City, was granted to the Chinese Protestant Christian Cemeteries' Committee.
New Kowloon Inland Lot No. 5 used as a Cemetery was closed during the year.
20. Re-entries.-16 lots in Hong Kong, 4 in Kowloon, 24 in New Kowloon, 37 in the Northern District, and 62 in the Southern District were re-entered upon during the year.
21. Surveys.-Although applications for purchase of land decreased considerably owing to various causes, development was carried on of numerous lots sold in 1923 and 1924, and the survey staff was constantly occupied in setting out building areas. More than 48 of such areas were defined in Hong Kong and 125 in Kowloon and New Kowloon.
Numerous surveys were also made for lease and other plans required by the Land Officer.
