22. Ordnance Survey. This survey has now reached the Eastern portion of the City, an additional 340 acres having been surveyed and mapped, while 60 miles of traverse have been run.
A traverse of approximately 9 miles was also run in the Pokfulam District.
Works under the Buildings Ordinance.
23. Compared with the figures published in the annual reports of recent years, it will be noticed that a marked falling off in the number of plans dealt with has to be recorded.
It will be seen from the total number of new houses and non-domestic buildings, for which plans were deposited, that the decrease foreshadowed at the end of 1924 was a correct forecast, both in respect of the number of houses completed during the twelve months ended 31st December, 1925, and the number of new buildings in course of erection on that date.
