Yesterday two Chinese gendarmes in uniform went to British Charitable Hospital and urged all Chinese staff to leave immediately. I asked at 1500 hours today for urgent interview with my Japanese colleague but as he has not replied I have sent statement of case and request for appropriate action to him in writing, and am pressing him
for interview some time tomorrow.
