86. The Boundary Commissioners (herein-referred to as “the A.D). 1886. Commissioners") may from time to time with the assent of the Treasury as to number appoint a secretary and such number of other doors.
Appointment officers as they may deem necessary for the purposes of this Act, 5 they may also with the like assent as to number employ such other persons as they may think fit for the purpose of enabling them to carry into effect any of the provisions of this Act, and the Commissioners may remove any person so appointed or employed.
87. There shall be paid to the Commissioners under this Act, Salaries and 16 and to their secretary and officers, such salaries or remuneration ez passen.
as the Treasury may assign, and such salaries and remuneration and all expenses of the Commissioners incurred in the execution of this Act shall be paid out of moneys provided by Parliament.

38. The Boundary Commissioners shall proceed as soon as m 18 be to inquire into the circumstances of every county and shall of electoral
determine the contents and boundaries of the electoral divisions thereof other than those constituted by quarter sessions boroughs, and shall distribute the number of councillors assigned by this Act to each county among the electoral divisions thereof in proportion 20 as nearly as may be to the population of each division, and shall, so far as seems practicablo, adopt petty sessional divisions or portions of petty sessional divisions for the purpose of forming such electoral divisions.
Before making such divisions and distributing the councillors 25 among such divisions the Boundary Commissioners shall consult with the justices in quarter sessions of the county concerned or with a committee appointed by such justices, and with the council of any quarter sessions borough concerned, and shall cause the proposed divisions to be published in such manner as to make the 30 same known to all persons interested, and shall consider all
objections and representations respecting such division.
The Commissioners shall finally settle such division before the first day of March next after the passing of this Act.
