3. The Cabinet had before them a Memorandum by
the Secretary of State for Air (Paper C.P.-180 (28)) covering a Note by the Air Staff on the subject of
Frontier Posts essential for the Defence of Iraq.
The Air Staff asked for a total of six posts,
which four already exist, and pointed out that
there are only three posts regarding which Ibn
Saud's objection rust be overcome.

The Cabinet felt they could not pursue the
matter further in the absence of the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, and the Prime Minister instructed the Secretary to submit the question
to him for the Agenda for the next, weekly Meeting.
