Opposites in style of play, but producing an equal effect in terms of goals, left the St. Joseph's-Borderers match in a drawn state yesterday, each side scoring twice. A very fair result this in a game which for periods boasted a very poor calibre of exchanges, but the interest of which were kept at fever pitch owing to the importance of every movement which suggested goals.

St. Joseph's served up some reasonably good scientific foot ball in the first half, whereas the Borderers failed to settle down to any definite form of attack and were never very thoughtful in their movements.
