· Miami, Fla., Apr. 19. Two adventurers in knickers, Gene Sarazen and Joo Kirk- wood, started опа golfing.

trail from here March 20 that will take them to the far corners of the earth.

Sarazen, the former American upen champion and Kirkwood, the present Caudine champion; planta year's tour covering more thuni. 100,000 miles, visiting green courses the world over. On their itinerary for next fall are Japan, Chlan and the Philippines.

Their first stop was Santo Do- mingo, followed by a week's stay

at San Juan, Puerto Rico.

After that comes a tour of South- America, with stops at Rio de Ja neiro, Buenos Aires. Montevideo, Santiago, Chile and up the west coast to Panama and Mexico.

They will be back in the United Statos for the national open at Merion, after which they will leave for England and the British open, followed by a six weeks' tour of the continent.

Turning back to North America. they will play across Canada and
