Second Football Trial A Disappointment

GASH AND STOKES OUTSTANDING

"The "Stripes," captained by Hurry defeated the "Whites." skippered by Gash, last Sunday afternoon at the Canidrome before a large crowd of about 12,000 spectators, in the second Interport trial match by three goals to two. It was an interesting match, but little rivalry was seen, as the players inclined to display in- dividualism more than combination. The desire to win appeared to be lacking.
