Last Two Meetings of
This Season.
ST. ANDREW'S STAKES. The programmes for the Fifteenti and Bixteenth Extra Itaco Meetings of the Hongkong Jockey Club, scheduled for December 3 and 10 rospectively, have been issued, with eight events fixed for each day. Theso meetings will wind up a successful racing season of the Jockey Club, after which the owners and Jockoys will proceed with the training of the now griffins, and subscription grimas for the next Annual afcoting.
Entries for the Fifteenth Extra Meeting will be closed next Thursday, while those for the Sixteenth Extra Meeting will be closed on December 5, at noon.

The funeral of the late Mr. Harry Coomba took place yester- day evening in the old residents* section of the Protestant Cemetery at Happy Valley. The burial ser vice was read by the Dean, the Very Rev. A. Swann.
Those present at the graveside included Chief Police Inspector P. Grant, Chief Sanitary Inspector C. F. Frith, Messrs. T. Hynes, F. H. Holdman, W. Wotherspoon, Polico Inspectors J. McLellan and D. W.
Officer Barnett, Revenue Marks, and some Japanese friends. The widow, Mrs. Hisa Coombs, was chief mourner.
