ARMY TERMS EXPLAINED, Army corps is a complete army ón a small scale in itself. The strength varion from 35,000 tr|| 45,000 men. Division is a force of infantry,
cavalry, and artillery, usually with a strength of from 15,000 to 20,000 men. " Brigade is a force of infantry on cavalry. The infantry brigade in from 4,000 to 7,000 strong The cavalry brigade is from 1,000 to 2,000 strong. Regiment of infantry is from A 2,000 to "4,000 strong. cavalry regiment is from 500 to 1,000 men strong. Squadron of cavalry is from 150
to 200 men strong. Battery of artillory in the British and French armies has 8 gads) and about 200 men. In the German Army consists of 4 gune and 150 msn.
