The verdict of the preliminary examination in, the case of Messrs. Matsura Gohei and Sawada Nei, Constitutionalist members of the Diet, will show Mr. Esaki's position in the acandal. The verdict says:The accused Mat sura Gohel and Sawada Nei, on the night of December 23rd, 1997, received Y30,000 from Esaki Reiji, representative of somura (a managing director of the company) at the house of Imade Kamataru at Yanagawa cho, Tokyo.
