It will be remembered that, early this month, the Hong Kong Gen: eral Chamber of Commerce issued a warning to manufacturers and exporters of plece-goods woven of cotton or artificial silk, or a mix- ture of these, that the Secretary of State for the Colonies had made a new regulation under Textile Quotas legislation. From June 26 all such goods exported to the 129.40 Colonies must have a Goverment 11.30 certificate that they had been spun, woven and finished in the 28/-
