CONCLUSION OF NAVAL
CONVERSATIONS
American Delegates Sail Homewards
London, Dec. 28.. Prospects of a resumption of the naval talks are growing very dim. The Americans, who are sailing"; homeward to-morrow have given a definite understanding that they do not expect to return, alther for further conversations or a naval | conference unless there is a radic- al change in the Japanese view which would give a more hopeful basis for futurė discussions.
The" Americans are leaving with the impression that the Japanese ylew is unchanged. Whether any change is possible depends on the outcome of future Anglo-Japanese negotiations through diplomatic channels.
