Hankow, Oct. 28. Last Sunday afternoon the Race Club presented the unusual sight of five different games being play- ed within a short distance of each other.
On the tennis courts the final of the mixed doubles was played. Mrs. Knlerim and Mr. Shroeder beating Mrs. Parkingson and Mr. Sherwin 7/9. 6/3, 6/3. It has been a particularly successful season for Mrs. Knierim as she has won in all matches played.
On the hockey field a pick-up game was played, and on the soc- cer ground the Club were trounced to the tune of 8 to 3 by a team from the Italian gunboat Leparito. wickets in hand.
