Naval Male Derby.

This event must not be confound ed with the Hong Kong Derby, but I will bet the traffic signal in front of the Post Office to a cigarette butt that it will provide more fun.

H.M.S. Bruce, Titania, Storm- cloud, Herald and Cornwall will all bo represented. A sweet disposi tioned little thing by the name of "Submarine" is in the pink of con- dition and should rise to the oc casion in this event.

"Mine's & Beer" is going very well and Orrible Orrace" and "Friend- less Freddie" are two very useful candidates who will have to be rec- kaned with.
