The R... Empress of Russia arrived at Shanghai on Saturday at 10.30 a.m., left there yesterday (Sunday) at 7 a.m., and is dus at Hong Kong to-morrow (Tuesday) ata.m. The liner leaves Hong Kong for Manila on Wednesday at 3.p.m.

The R.M. 5. Empress of Canuda arrived at Shanghai on Saturday at 10 am, left there yesterday (Sunday) at 11 am, and is due at Kobe to-morrow (Tuesday) at 2

p.m.

The B.1. and Apcar Line 5.3. Tallien will leave Amoy for this port to-day, and is due here to- morrow afternoon.

NEW CHINESE-OWNED VESSEL.

The long wong, Ho Hong Co.'s new steamer, arrived in Singapore last week from P. Baroe on, her first run between that part and Singapore.

The vessel was built in Hong Kong and is registered in Singa- pote. She has a gross tonnage of 200 and nett 74. The vessel carries a crew of 35, has a bunker capacity I of 30 tons and steams at 9 knots.

She left P. Baroe on the 27th inst, and touched at Bengkalis, S. Pandjang and Karimon during the" voyage here, with a general cargo.
