Banks: Hongkong and · Shanghai Banks have slightly weakened and havo been sold at $1,108/$1,200. The London price remains unchanged at £139(middle). Marine & Fire Insurances-Unions have again come to business at $260/202. Yangtzes after having receded to 2401 have buyers at it. China Fires are wanted at $180 and Underwriters at $2.35 Cantors at $753 and Hongkong Fires at 8723 have not moved.

ShippingStar Ferries are a turn higher and have been done at $130 and continue' is request. Douglas Steamships closed better at 887. Tugs and Lighters have moved up to

Union Water- bonts have advanced to $19. Hongkong Canton and Macao Steamboats are weak with probable sellers at $39.

Docks, Wharves & Godowns.-Hong- kong & Kowloon Wharves were booked at $212, but the demand has since slacken- ed. Hongkong and Whampoa Docks were bought in the beginning of the week at $115, but the market has since fallen away to #151. Shanghai Docks have been taken at Tls. 108. Hongkew Wharves closed steady at Tis. 210. New Engineerings are obtainable at Tls, Th....

Lands, Hotels and Buildings. —Hong- kong Lands have shown an easier teudency and have been sold at the close at 2105). Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels (Old) are wanted at 818 after transactions at $18.30, while the New shares have auctunt- ed between $17, and 8171 Realties harm been taken at $2.50. Humphreys Estates continue in demand at $22) and a sale at 8227 is reported.

Cotton Mills.-Ewes were dealt in to a fair extent forward on the basis of Tls, 124, but the market has since dropped to: Tis. 19.10. Orientals at Tis. 4.20, Shanghai Cottons (Old) at Tis. er and (New) at Tis. '33 have lapsed to nominal quotations.

Miscellaneous.-Green Island Cements have again changed handa in large quanti. tica at $38/98.70. China Providents (Old) have been done at $16 and the New at $9.90, while the Combined shares are wanted at 8391. Constructions after having appreciated to 36 have sellers at this rate
