The ss. Patches (Blue Funnel) left Liverpool on the 7th inst. for Singapore, Hongkong, Shanghai, Taku and Dalny, and is due here on or about August 6th.
The Aireus, (Blue Funnel) arrived at New York on July 12th.

The northern depression is moving into the Pacific and the southern depression remains to the west of Haiphong. The typhoon appears to be situated about 300 miles south of Nata, moving slowly north- Ward.
