Consignees of Cargo are hereby notified that they must produce an Import Permit signed by the Superintendant of Imports and Experis, Hongkong, and must also complete assign- ment of existing rights and
claims
against the Dutch steamer SS. "ARAKAN, 88 ro quired by the Division of Operations of the United States Shipping Board Emergency Fleet Corporation, before the Bill of Lading can be countersigned.
All broken, chafed and damaged goods are to be left in the Godowns, where they will be azamined on MONDAY, 16th August, 1918, at 10 AM.
All Claims must be proanted within a month of the Steamer's arrival hero, after which they cannot be recognised.
No Claims will be admitted after the Goods. have left the Godowns and all Goods remaining undelivered after the 29th Aug., 1918, will be subject to rent.
No Fire Insurance whatever will be effected. Consignees are requested to send in their Bill
