Nationalised Steel Industry Discloses A Big Increase In Profit

London, June 17.

Britain's nationalised steel industry now to be returned to private enterprise increased its profits in the year which ended on September 30 last, it was announced here today.

The annual report of the Iron and Steel Corporation of Great Britain, parent body of about 300 companies, shows the Corporation's con- solidated profit before tax at £64,400,000.
