Licensing of vehicles
Annual licensing of vehicles will stort on July 3 at 9 n.m. and will continue daily, clos Ing at 4 p.m. (Baturday, Sun. days and Holidays excepied).
Licensing will take plan at the Central Police Station, (entrance from main door in Hollywood Road) and at the Kowloon Traffic Office, (cor. nor of Nathan and Prince Edward Roads), which has bech opened for the benefit of Kowloon residents.

The Reverend "Bob" Plerce, representative of the Youth For Clirist, International, was the speaker at a Tea Service at the Peninsula Hotel yesterday af- lerncon, at which more than, 50 missionaries attended.

Following his release after the surrender of the Japanese, Mr. Deshazer returned to the United States. He entered a schucl or theologs, and after his graduation set sail for Japan as a missionary.

According to Mr. C. C. Cheng, Chairman of the
Chung Shing Benevolent Society and sponsor of the race, the delayed arrival of the Luon Shun Tong boat was due to the detention of the boat off Central Market, while the boat was on its way to the Chung Shing Bathing Pavilion, by the police who ruled that the boat was carrying an excess of crew.
Of the four boats which were to take part in the race,
