The Chinese R.C. and the In- dian R.C., leaders in the "B" Division, as expected, retained their undefeated record. The Club de Recreio just managed to account for the United Services R.C. by the odd set, while the Nippon Club and the University scored unexpected victory over the R.E. Sports Club and the South China A.A. respectively.
In the "C" League, the Chinese R.C., favourites for the cham- pionship, convincingly defeated the University, The Hong Kong C.C., who have been showing greatly improved form, adminis tered a sound "thrashing" to the Indian R.C.
