Construction of the school was not expensive. Throughout the building the true reinforced concrete struc- tures are exposed. On the exterior it is adorned only by the slim pat-

terns of plaster. Interior finishes are very unpretentious, but provid- ing ample facilities and comfort. In fact in Bernard College the highest result has been obtained by careful

planning for the lowest possible outlay.

General contractor was the Tin Fook Construction Co. and piling was done by Gammon (Hong Kong) Ltd.
