THE
HE Hong Kong Public Works Department has compiled lists of suppliers and specialist contrac- tors in the following materials and works:
Air conditioning and refrigeration plant, including ductwork (major and minor);
All-metal vehicular body-building; Asphalt floor tiling;
Bronze work;
Builder's hardware;
Electrical installations (major and minor);
Fire hydrants and valves;
General engineering (steel fabrica. tion, metal working etc.);
Haulage, transportation and the supply of load carrying vehicles;
Lifts and escalators;
Metal windows;
Piling;
Plumbing installations;
Rock asphalt roofing and tanking; Rubber flooring;
Suspended ceilings and gypsum
plaster work;
Terrazzo and marble work;
Tiling;
Venetian blinds;
Well Sinking, earth boring, and site investigation work.
Any firms dealing with the supply of materials or specialising in the execution of works under these headings which do not already re- ceive invitations to tender and wish to be considered for inclusion in the lists for the purpose of carrying out government contracts are invited to apply to the Public Works Depart- ment, Central Government Offices, stating the types of work they carry
out.
All firms included in the lists will receive private invitations to tender for any Government work falling in their category when specialist sup pliers or contractors are required.
