It should be pointed out to personnel wishin, to make private

arrangements to send their families to places outside sterling area that

restrictions notified in my 39427 24th. July will prevent personnel

from remitting funds for maintenance of such families. Further as o

officers will thereby be unable to maintain families family lodging

allowance will not be issuable and last sentence of my telegram

77779 31st. July is accordingly cancelled in so far as it relates to

such families.
