Transmits copy Hong Kong telegram No. 471 of 1st August, repeated Tokyo No. 80, Shanghai No. 155, Canton No. 10 (S), reporting that while women of other nationalities tend to leave Colony there is no indication of such move among Japanese. On contrary number of Japanese women have increased by 33 in period 1st July to 31st July. Will report any notable movement.

In same period male Japanese population has increased by 120.
