I report, for information, that Union Insurance Society, Canton, is proposing to remove its head office from Hong Kong to Singapore. This is an old Company which was founded in Centon before the establishment of this Colony. It has a world wide insurance business and its management feels that asset of public confidence will be lost other parts of the world where present local political situation is not clearly understood Local business is inconsiderable
